Staying Social with the DSF
The Digital Signage Federation (DSF) is a non-profit organization that sets privacy standards, develops codes of ethics and creates guidelines and principles for digital signage industry professionals. Each year, the DSF hosts a variety of events that range from networking functions to educational sessions to industry trade shows.
In need of a new strategy for promoting event awareness and boosting attendance, the DSF decided to turn to social media. With a content strategy in place and copy ready to go, there was only one thing missing: Graphics.
The success of the Miami Meet & Greet naturally led to a renewed partnership for the next event's promotion, which was an educational seminar paired with breakfast.
The association of food with this event was the largest source of inspiration for this project's design, leading to graphics that played upon the images of popular restaurant chains and suggested the presence of of food, mingling and productivity.
Those images are available below:
Equipped with nothing but the event time and location, these eye-catching and informative graphics were created within the short deadline.
These clever and informative graphics echoed the style and feeling of little Havana and hinted at the cocktails sure to be provided. They matched both the event theme and DSF style guide, and they contributed to a well-attended and successful event.
